About G-PIC
The Global Policy & Inclusion Convening (G-PIC) is a policy dialogue platform established to facilitate high-level discussion on the intersection of education equity, disability inclusion, and public policy.
As global frameworks increasingly recognise the rights of persons with disabilities, significant gaps remain between legal commitments and practical implementation; particularly within education systems.
G-PIC brings together academics, policy practitioners, development actors, and civil society leaders to examine how disability inclusion and education equity can be embedded as core governance priorities, and translated into meaningful institutional change.
The convening is designed as a neutral platform for evidence-based dialogue, cross-sector engagement, and global knowledge exchange, with a particular emphasis on amplifying perspectives from the Global South.
Why This Matters
Despite growing global commitments to inclusive education and disability rights, many systems continue to face challenges in implementation, coordination, and accountability.
Addressing these gaps requires sustained dialogue between research, policy, and practice.
G-PIC was established to contribute to this conversation by creating a space where ideas, evidence, and experience can inform more effective policy outcomes.
